ConsĬreate: We couldn't create a new Tumblr blog from the app but had to use the Web interface instead something we hope Tumblr addresses in subsequent updates.Īrchives: There doesn't seem to be a way to access the useful blog Archive feature from the app, though oddly enough we could do so from Tumblr's main site in our browser. ![]() The app's image quality is impressive.Įxtras: We could save unfinished messages as drafts queue posts for sending to save data edit posts in plain text, HTML, or markdown edit URLs and Source URLs and perform other maintenance tasks. Unified experience: The app's Dashboard is a slightly pared down version of the main site, only it's even easier to scroll through. More social: This app enhances Tumblr's social media experience in many ways, not the least of which is having a handset-optimized interface with you at all times. Tumblr 3.3 is suitable for Android 2.2 and up. We could log in or out of our Tumblr account post or share pictures, animated GIFs, video clips, music, text, quotes, and more edit and delete posts search for, follow, and unfollow blogs and do nearly anything we could do from Tumblr's website. Tumblr's Android app makes it easier than ever to update your blogs and the blogs you follow.
